AGOM International is an Italian engineering and manufacturing company specializing in the design and production of advanced structural devices for civil infrastructure, construction, and industrial projects.

Since our founding in 1963, we have maintained a commitment to quality, innovation, and service. AGOM was the first company in the world to obtain CE certification for pot bearings in 2006, a milestone that reflects our pioneering role in the field.

Subsequently, AGOM obtained the CE certification for elastomeric bearings in 2007, for hydraulic anti-seismic devices STU in 2012, spherical bearings and elastomeric anti-seismic isolators type LRB in 2014 and type HDRB in 2015 until reaching the CE Certification of spherical bearings with special sliding material AgomGlide in 2023 and guides and restraints in 2024. In 2025 we are among the first companies in Europe to have obtained the CE Mark on road mat expansion joints.

Today, with operations in more than 70 countries and over six decades of experience, we are proud to support major infrastructure developments around the world with cutting-edge technology and Italian-made precision.

Our core product lines include structural bearings (elastomeric, pot, spherical), road and railway expansion joints, seismic protection systems, and high-performance damping devices. All of our solutions are fully engineered, tested, and manufactured in-house at our facility in Italy. We operate under rigorous international quality standards and hold ISO 9001 certification. Our products are also tested in collaboration with leading laboratories and universities, including Politecnico di Milano, Eucentre Foundation, and SISMALAB – Seismic devices Test Laboratory.

AGOM’s technical leadership is built on continuous research, custom design capabilities, and a collaborative approach with contractors, designers, and consultants. We serve a wide range of clients, from government agencies to global contractors, providing structural solutions tailored to the specific demands of each project.

Our recent contributions include the Tren Maya Sur Bridges in Mexico (2024), the Al Shindagha Corridor in Dubai (2020), and the Burs Railway Bridge in Turkey (2017), each demonstrating our commitment to engineering excellence, innovation, and durability.

In 2024, we launched a strategic collaboration with CHI Consulting Engineers (USA) to integrate non-contact, real-time Computer Vision Monitoring into our structural health portfolio. This innovation will be presented at the IABSE Congress in Ghent, Belgium, in August 2025, highlighting our advancements in seismic bridge monitoring and structural health diagnostics.

At AGOM, sustainability guides not only how we build, but why we build. Our products are designed for long service life to minimize waste and reduce lifecycle costs. We evaluate suppliers based on technical quality and environmental responsibility, and we actively contribute to initiatives focused on carbon footprint reduction, Life Cycle Assessment (LCA), and Environmental Product Declarations (EPD). From materials selection to monitoring technologies, every step is shaped by our belief that resilient infrastructure must also be sustainable.

At AGOM, we believe that resilient infrastructure is essential to sustainable development. Our team of skilled engineers, researchers, and project consultants work every day to deliver efficient, durable, and future-ready solutions, building safer structures for generations to come.
